May 7, Day +11 Peaceful

It's amazing how much can change in one day.  While Hunter's physical pain is still there, we all feel a sense of relief to know that Hunter's transplant is progressing on schedule.  His WBC today was 0.32 or triple yesterday's count.  His doctor was pleased with his rate of increase.  Hunter was able to drink a little today and eat a few popsicles and ice cream.  His throat is healing, but still very sore.  Hunter and I had probably his most restful night he's had in the 21 nights at the hospital.
View from our home away from home, the RV.  Not a bad place to do some healing!
Jana and I found a spa inside the hospital and decided to treat ourselves to a little celebration.  Heavenly!

Hunter and his wonderful Dr.  We are thankful for his expertise.

Love this man.  His strength and determination are an inspiration to me.

I just had to snap a picture of his first peaceful rest in over a week since his mouth sores broke out.
We are absolutely thrilled to see another good increase in white blood cells.  Our doctor seems to think that we have excellent donor cells and a fighter of a patient.  We were already pretty sure of both those things.  Team Hanner, continue to pray for growth in Hunter's marrow, and for strength and healing for his throat.
