We are just plugging along here in Houston. Hunter is tolerating his zero blood count days pretty well. His strength amazes me. He is able to function (feeling as bad as he does) much better than I would be able to. He has spent many years feeling sick three days a week on account of his injections he's taken since he was 6. His liver number are good. We are glad to hear that. Another answer to prayer is that he still hasn't run fever nor did anything grow from his cultures from his infected port. It would seem like his infection is under control.
The scratchy throat from yesterday overnight turned into full blown mouth sores. His digestive system is full of them as a result of his chemo. His tongue is swollen, and his throat and mouth hurts. All his doctors and nurses are surprised he has been able to eat and drink. A morphine pump has been set up to handle the pain. Hunter is one tough cookie. Pray that he can continue to press on through the pain of his mouth so that he can still get his little anti-rejection doses of chemo tomorrow and next week.

| We made our hospital room a little more homey today. This is much better:) |
Hunter's IV pole is growing in size. He had about 6 bags of various medicines hanging at the same time today, including a blood transfusion. His red cells (they carry oxygen throughout the body) were getting a little low so they gave him a bag. He might need some more every other day until his kick in. We are glad for another "poopy day" to have passed. As before, please pray for Hunter's new cells and for a hedge of protection from infection.

Prayers continue from the Jones' house!
If y'all need anything from Abilene or the metroplex, let me know. A good friend of mine is heading to Houston next week. He'd be happy to drop anything off.
May God keep you all wrapped in His loving arms. Praying for all of you. We are looking forward when you are sitting in the pew ahead of us at SHCC.
