May 3, Day +7

Hunter has done a lot of sleeping the last two days.  His energy is just gone.  He is still impressing his doctor by walking the halls and getting some nutrition.  I don't have a whole lot to report.  We've done a lot of watching Hunter sleep the past couple days.  Hopefully, that means that there is lots going on in his marrow.  Yesterday he got another blood transfusion, but he didn't need one today.  His liver numbers are stable, which means he got his little dose of anti-rejection chemo yesterday.

His mouth and throat ulcers are really painful.  We are trying to convince him to hit his morphine pump before he tries to swallow anything.  The only things he can get down right now are liquids, but he's been doing a good job at drinking an Ensure, ice cream, and chicken and stars soup.  We are praying really hard that his cells start to take over soon.  When that happens he will feel drastically better.  For now, his body keeps producing more mucus to coat the swollen sores in his digestive tract.  This increase is just making his throat hurt even more.  We are ready for him to have these mouth sores behind him.  It hurts for him to talk too.  We really wish we could take away some of his pain.

The boys have been having a ball.  I got several pictures of the twins at school.  It looks like they had a good snack.  That's my Caleb, neat as can be.  And Clayton is eating as fast as possible.

Michael's family had brand new baby goats at their house, so Aunt E and Uncle Michael took them over to meet them.  Benton, Caleb, and Clayton were some happy guys, and couldn't stop chattering about them on our FaceTime chat that night.

It didn't take Caleb long to figure out that Kevin was the cuddler!

Our boys are blessed to have so many that love them and are willing to do extra things with them.  Thanks Easleys, for giving our boys a memorable night!  Please pray that Hunter's baby marrow will start making themselves known soon and that Hunter's mouth will feel better.
