We have had a little bit better day today. Hunter's throat is still extremely sore. He is having a hard time getting anything down, liquids and pills included. Most of his pills have been switched to IV today and that has helped. He has had a little soup and part of a milkshake, and that's about it. It is a real struggle to swallow without coughing and gagging. He maybe thinks he's not making as much mucus.
The last 3 nights Hunter hasn't been able to sleep at all. He is exhausted, but every time mucus got in his throat he was wide awake with sharp pain. Early this morning, we tried a different pain med, and it really helped him relax. He slept from about 5:30-8:30, and was able to take both a morning and afternoon nap. Getting a little sleep has made all the difference for him. We have been able to talk with him a little bit, and he even smiled for a few pictures. There is no way we would have asked him to smile the past couple days.

| We've been finding quite a few little hairs around. Good thing we got that buzz. |
The boys had a busy weekend. They've had a ball playing outside, going to the zoo, and have even been a WATS (We Are The Sermon) project. A group from church watched the Hanner boys so my parents could get a little break. And it seems they ate even more ice cream. We eat fairly healthy at our house, so we may have a few habits to break when we get home. Poppa must be the bad influence, if I were guessing:) He has been known to indulge in ice cream daily.

| A haircut just ages them instantly, no? |
Again, we would ask for prayers for engraftment, and soon! Hunter hasn't complained one bit about all his physical aches, but we are ready for him to get some relief. Love to all of Team Hanner!

Keep moving forward Hunter!
Coop prays every night for "hanner"... and we all snicker. We pray for you often through out our days. May God continue to strengthen you through His Mercy, your family, and your doctors wisdom.
Your blog is so heartwarming. Thank you for keeping us posted in this way. Your families' love for each other is a beautiful testimony - in the hospital with Hunter and at home with the kiddos. May God bless you all with continued healing and hope.
