In the months leading up to transplant, I seriously neglected my blog. I knew I had plenty of days {like today} when I had lots of time to go back and update, and didn't want to miss out on a single moment with our boys at home. That being said....we had a fantastic Easter filled with family, food, and fun.
On Good Friday, my sister and her 3 came over for the morning. We made "resurrection rolls" and let the kids take Jesus {a marshmellow} and prepare his body with spices {sugar} and wrap him in the tomb {crescent roll}. We baked our rolls and he was supposed to be risen. We might have used jumbo marshmellows, so he wasn't quite "arose and disappeared" like we thought he would be. This led to some interesting quotes - "We are eating Jesus" and "He sure tastes yummy!" Life with little kids is never boring. We also dyed some eggs and didn't make too much of a mess. That's saying a lot when you've got 6 kids, age 5 and under!

| Michelle and I have improved our egg dying skills from Baby Benton and Baby Clara:) |
Saturday night we went over to Nana and G-Daddy's house for a little egg hunting. There were lots of confetti eggs hidden. The following pictures show the personality of the boys:
| Caleb: upset his egg was broken and his shoes dirty |
| Clayton: not a care in the world, giggling with glee as he cracks his egg on G-Daddy |
| Benton: gather up all he can find and crack repeatedly over his own head |

| Plus Hudson...the best we could do with the four |
The boys spent the night with Nana and G-Daddy, so they got their Easter baskets after church at Honey and Poppa's house.
| not the best, we'll pretend Clayton is shouting "yay, I love pictures" |
| We might have fed the kids before the adults, so we could have a little adult conversation. |
| Then the hunting began! |
| All that my kids cared about was the rice krispy treats. Who can blame them? |

So grateful we serve a risen Lord!
