Even though Benton's birthday isn't until June, we wanted a chance to celebrate with him. I couldn't think of a better place to celebrate our animal loving boy than the zoo. Their party package was perfect for us. The zoo provided everything, I just showed up with my camera. We invited a few of his sweet little friends, and we had a ball. They played with puppets, had a live animal demonstration that was educational, ate cake, and opened gifts.
We kept hearing all the animals rustling under their covers. The moms couldn't decide if this turtle was real or plastic. Turns out it's fake.

| I just love this little group of church friends! They're precious, every one of them.
No one ever accused Benton of being a dummy. As we were leaving the zoo, he leaned over and said, "Mom, can I still have a pool party at Nana's house on June 10th?" Of course you can, sweet boy! I can't believe he is going to be five. It seems like only yesterday he made me a mom!
