We've had another calm and peaceful day. Hunter has completed 6 of his 16 busulfan treatments and has two other more drugs to follow. As expected, he still feels great. After all his blood draws yesterday, his team of doctors decided that his levels of chemo in his body were just right, and his dosage stayed the same. Not much medically to report today. We are just plugging right along.
Jana and I have been switching off who stays the night with Hunter and gets to sleep on the pull out chair. Last night was my turn to stay at the RV. I got a good night's rest and enjoyed a little run around the lake before I headed up to the hospital. We are trying to figure out things to do to keep occupied. Before checking in we each got a Bible in chronological order and plan to read the entire thing in 90 days. So far we are all on track. Our doctors and nurses also got a big laugh about the three of us doing yoga this morning. We might have a bigger crowd tomorrow as they joked about wanting to join us for some stretching.
THANK GOODNESS FOR FACETIME! We love checking in on the boys during the day. Caleb and Clayton are still getting used to Hunter's new haircut and keep telling him he looks "silly." Our family at home definitely has them happy and well cared for. Thanks guys!In other boredom news, Hunter finally set up his x-box. He was a happy camper to waste away some mindless time. Jana and I have learned it's pretty worthless to try and talk to him when it's on.
People have been so good to send us pics of the kids. It sure helps to feel connected to see what they're up to.
For your entertainment, here is a small glimpse at our yoga session this morning.
We are another day along in our journey! Thanks for all the continued prayers. Keep them coming!
