May 20, 2011 was a date that our family had circled on our calendar for many months. This was the day we officially added Katie as a member of our family! It has been pure joy to watch how happy she has made my brother. Benton had the honor of being a ring bearer along with Clara. It was a great day for our family and the wedding was beautiful. Katie was absolutely stunning and Nathan was beaming the entire night. Hunter and I both were a part of the wedding, so Nana, G-Daddy, Aunt E, and Chase and Macey were kind enough to help us. Believe me, it took all the help to get our group fed, cleaned, napped, dressed in our suits, ready for pictures, down the aisle, and moved to the reception.
I can't wait to see the video of the actual ceremony. I was quite nervous about sending my 2 year old boy down the aisle. My fears were calmed at rehearsal when he calmly held Clara's hand and walked down the aisle beaming, found his star, all while smiling. Hunter and I were seated at the front with Michelle, Zach, and the GGs for the wedding. We can't really see the center aisle too well, but when it was the kids' turn to walk in laughter erupts from the back. Soon I realize why: my son is skipping/running down the aisle. He gets to the front, throws his pillow, and dives to his piece of tape. Poor Clara sighed and walked down alone with a look on her face like "I knew he was going to do that!" I was one happy momma when he made his way to Nana (also seated in the front) and her ipad. There has to be a little comic relief at every wedding right? He was one handsome mischievous little ringbearer!

So sad I don't have any pictures with the beautiful bride! Nana and G-Daddy took our boys home early from the reception as it was already their bedtime. Michelle and I cut the brides' cake so I didn't get lots of pictures of the festivities. By the time they left the reception and we got home, I was one tired momma. We had lots of family in town, so the party didn't stop then. We enjoyed catching up with lots of my dad's family who we don't get to see near enough. There were 11 kids under the age of 4, so you can imagine they chaos that ensued.
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Hathorn! We love you both!!!
