Our first time out of the house was to go to our first dr. checkup at 10 days old. Mommy and Honey loaded us up and we even made it on time. Dr. Teugel thought they looked great and were doing wonderful. He recommended that we keep them away from other kids and the public for 8 weeks since they came a little early. Clayton weighed in at 6 lbs. 10 ozs. and Caleb was down to 5 lbs. 10 ozs. We got put on a 2 1/2 our schedule so Caleb would gain weight, which was fine by Clayton! I am very strict about them eating together. When one is hungry, we both eat. Otherwise I would be feeding babies all day long!
I was off my pain meds by this point and feeling much better. We were all thrilled that our big boy quit running fever and got to rejoin our family. I missed him terribly, but was so grateful for Nana, G-Daddy, Aunt E, and for everyone else who kept him for the week so the babies didn't get his virus. I can't say this enough, but we wouldn't have kept sane without our families! Benton was excited to see his brothers, and play with all the new gear at our house.
