Our Memorial weekend was spent the way it should:
*dressed in red, white, and blue
*swimming
*cooking out with family
*eating watermelon
*feasting on homemade ice cream
and thinking of those who made it possible! God bless the USA!
Side notes:1. Caleb and Clayton were matching until Clayton had a blowout.
2.We tricked our children into taking the crack/wedgie picture. They were smiling away at me fake taking their picture on my cell phone in front of them while Michelle was behind them clicking away. We crack ourselves up!
3.Michelle and I drove to four different stores and made 5 phone calls in an attempt to locate rock salt for our homemade ice cream. We weren't the only ones! What a pregnant girl won't do for some ice cream! GG Glen saved the day by coming up with some pool chemical sold at Lowes that has the same effect/affect? (FYI)
