Tubes!

We were very fortunate the first 6 months in that we stayed very healthy. The boys only had one cold previous to our 6 month well baby check at our pediatrician appt. We ended up being there with sick kids, and you know where this is headed...we got snotty noses that turned into ear infections that we couldn't get rid of. Clayton was on 3 different antibiotics and Caleb 4. Their ears would clear up while on medicine, but a few days later they would be back.
After 6 weeks of antibiotics twice daily, clariten, breathing treatments, and fussy hurting kids we were beat. Hunter and I were so happy to try something different.

Our awesome ent worked us in super quick, and we got instructions to be at the hospital for surgery the next day at 5:45. Nana and Honey met us up there to help us entertain two boys who couldn't eat or drink. They did so much better than I could have ever imagined. By 7:30 they were both finished and back in my arms. Caleb was unphased by the procedure and was flirting with anyone in sight. Clayton on the other hand was too hacked off from the anesthesia to even nurse. He finally calmed down, ate breakfast, and took a nap. We were back home by 9:30 good as new. It has made such a huge difference to be healthy!

Caleb was entertained by the iv pole. Glad we didnt need it!
