Over Thanksgiving we made a quick stop in Austin. When researching things to do I knew our little dinosaur lover would have a ball at the Austin Childrens' Museum. As a bonus, it was within walking distance of our hotel. Nana stayed with the napping twins while Hunter and I took our big boy for some time with just the two of us. We were all a little overwhelmed with the big kids on field trips, but once they cleared out he had fun exploring.

Benton is with mommy and a life size Edmontasaurus here. My newfound dinosaur knowledge is scary. I know more dinosaur names than I care to as of late!
He also got to pretend to be a vet,
and dig in the dirt.
His favorite thing was the table of dinosaurs, most of which we have at home. We had to pull him away kicking and screaming.
We had a great time, and wouldn't you believe it I soon came down with a stomach bug. Wonder where I got those germs?

did you have to look up how to spell that Edam...dinosaur, or do you know it by heart too? :)
