Disney Day 2, Magic Kingdom

After a good night's rest, we woke up ready to head out to Magic Kingdom.  It was open an hour early to guests who stayed at the resort, and we took advantage.  We hopped on the monorail in our lobby and were at the gates in a couple minutes.

There weren't any lines, so we walked on the Buzz Lightyear ride twice, the Monsters Inc. Laugh lab, It's a Small World, and then used our Fast Passes on Peter Pan and Mickey's Philharmonic.  We felt like we accomplished a lot before 11!

We were cracking up at their reactions to the 3D.  The twins kept reaching out trying to grab and jumping when things moved around.

Had to stop for a Dole Whip.  YUM!!!
We had appointment for pirate makeovers.  Benton chose Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and C & C both picked Captain Hook.  As we got inside, Caleb started backtracking.  I sat with him, but he was NOT having any part of it.  So he watched his brothers happily.
"Jake"
Clayton was hilarious.  He is always our wild card and I never can really predict how he will react when presented with new situations.  You've never seen a 3 year old boy sit more still or be more serious about getting his face painted.  Clayton loved every second, and Hunter and I were so tickled.  Our families were cracking up and kept asking for more pirate picture texts.

Probably one of my absolute favorite images of the whole trip right here.
He wore it well!  I was sad we couldn't get appointments first thing, but he wasn't too upset to wash it off once we got back to the room to nap.  After crashing, we went out to play at the beach.

Caleb's reaction to the news we needed to go back to the room...

And shortly after
I don't know how you could top the Magic Kingdom.  Even though we don't have any princesses, the boys were totally in awe.  And so was I.  From the moment we woke up to when our heads hit the pillows, we were having a great time!
