I'm still in catch up mode. I'll blame the fact the ice storm right after Christmas took out our internet, and we're just now back up and running online;)
This year we spent Christmas in town with my family. We went over to my parents for Christmas Eve, woke up to Santa coming at our own house, then went back over to Honey and Poppa's for brunch and more celebrating Christmas day. It sure is nice and convenient when your parents live a mile down the road!

| Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Hanners:) |
| Don't mind my picture of a picture |
Our Christmas Eve was filled with little ones running around, cookie making, and games.
| Thanks Honey for our cute Christmas shirts! |
| Yahtzee |
| Meanwhile the big kids snuck out for a little target practice |
The boys are a fun age for the holidays! Their little personalities were funny to watch cut out and decorate cookies. Some were definitely more deliberate and careful than others.
| Honey got us matching shirts too:) The big boys declined to match. |
There's just something special about Christmas morning with your kids. Santa brought them a book with their stocking, and a note to look in the backyard. Their books were a hit and it took about 5 minutes to convince them to open the rest of their gifts. Hunter and I got the boys magformers, scooters, and a truck. The magformers have been the biggest hit. I've loved watching them build all different magnet creations. We took them each shopping individually to buy for everyone in the family. They all did great choosing and took a lot of pride in giving to others.

| Caleb and Clayton have been collecting Bruder trucks for 3 years for Christmas and birthdays. They have quite the construction fleet! Caleb chose skates for his brother:) |

| Clayton is always the most random gift giver. He was sure Daddy needed this rocking lawn chair. |
After playing with new toys for a few minutes, we headed over to brunch at Honey and Poppa's. After exchanging a few gifts, we played a little backyard baseball.
| Benton looks very grown up in this picture:( |
Hunter got a new glove for Christmas, and Caleb a tee. We were playing kids vs. adults and the kids thought it was so funny that they could catch Hunter running the bases.
| LOVE! |
| Clayton carried these around all day. He didn't want it opened or to put them on, but he never sat them down. Funny boy! |
| Start to finish in a couple hours! |
Before we went home Poppa read the first Christmas story and the kids acted it out. We were short an angel so Hunter jumped in. We tried to keep Jesus as they focus of our holiday season, and were so thankful to be home together this year!

Jennifer: Thank you very much for the nice card that you sent me and the Zale ICU team. It is so inspiring to hear that Hunter is doing so well. If you have a chance, maybe both of you could pay a visit to our ICU sometime. Our nurses would love it. All the best.
