Back Again, So Soon?

If you were to ask Hunter, Chase, or Fred what their favorite time of year I'm quite certain they'd tell you duck season. Although it feels like it just ended, indeed it is here again. I mean, who wouldn't love getting up at 3:30 in the morning, standing in freezing cold water, trying to call ducks into where you are hiding? I know the love is just pouring out of my words!

Yes, that is a dead duck inside my house. Yes, Benton did try and set it on my bed. Yes, Chase stopped him.



All kidding aside, I'm glad that Hunter has a hobby that he can enjoy. It's a love that has passed from his Grandpa to his Dad, and from the looks of things soon to Benton. Please, just don't leave any more whole ducks in my freezer. It caused enough embarrassment the last time it decided to make an appearance!
