7 years and counting

I have a husband who makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. One of the ways that my hubby shows his love is by planning our anniversary trip every year. The timing didn't work out this summer on our exact 7 year anniversary, but in October Hunter surprised me with a weekend getaway to celebrate. My very thoughtful husband recreated our engagement! It was a very wonderful trip down memory lane! You can read our engagement story from this post here.
We started out in Granbury, where we spent the day before our engagement. This trip, we stayed overnight at the cutest little bed and breakfast. My morning sickness and nausea even let me have a break this weekend.
The Pomegranate House comes highly recommended! Their breakfast was amazing. It was very restful after a busy week for Hunter from the company customer appreciation lunch at the dealership.
Erinn even drove over and met us for a little shopping around the square and lunch. It was fun to get to see Ernie on our trip because she played a role in our engagement.
Here we are in front of our little cabin at the bed and breakfast. I was 16 weeks along at this point.
After spending the part of the day shopping in Granbury, we headed to Glen Rose to where Hunter popped the question. We got quite a few kicks about the things that I remembered, and all that I had forgotten since we'd been there.
We enjoyed our time spent the two of us. The ranch was a perfect retreat from our busy lives.
We enjoyed a very fancy meal and dined until we were stuffed. I was so nervous that I had a hard time eating last time we were here, so this year I was sure to enjoy every last bite. Hunter made sure to order the strangest thing on the menu. He's just adventurous like that!

I ordered chocolate cake for dessert, and it did not disappoint!
Another highlight of the trip was the prenatal massage that Hunter booked for me. It was a great way to end our trip. I am so thankful to have a husband who likes to paper me!

Thanks for a great trip, my love!
