Last weekend we tried to beat the Texas heat by heading to the pool. Benton loves his baths, but I wasn't sure how he'd feel about not being able to touch. Here he is in his new swimmy, sunscreen on, only half awake from his nap.

Honey, Poppa, and M'chelle met us to take in some rays and cool off.
Who wouldn't love spending the afternoon in this beautiful, salt water oasis, doesn't even look like Abilene backyard?
Benton especially enjoyed the fountain.
A tuckered out little Benton went home with Honey and Poppa to take a nap while M'chelle and I lounged a little longer. After Hunter got off work, we went out to Olive Garden. The perfect Saturday!
