Dr. Seuss Party

This past Sunday night our small group and our families joined together to celebrate Benton turning ONE!  I will start off by saying I wasn't a very faithful photographer as I don't have many pictures of our guests.  I did, however, get a few shots with this little cutie.  Here he is driving his new car from Honey and Poppa.

Benton is all about getting messy, and loves what little bits of sugar he gets to taste.  I knew he would enjoy his cake.  These next few are all out of order.  Sorry!

As you can see, Benton made out like a bandit.

He got lots of books, (one even hand designed by Aunt E)

cute clothes, movies, a swingset, a basketball goal, swimming pool, and his own backpack just to name a few .

To cool off, the boys took a little swim.  G-Daddy and Benton had a great time together, the older boys threw balls at each other, and the girls laughed at them and dipped our toes in the water.
We are so grateful for all our friends and family.  I feel like I've got an entire "village" that's helping us raise our child.  It makes all the difference in the world to have a support system around you.  Benton is one lucky boy to have so many that love him!
