Hathorn Christmas 2011

 Oh, blogger!  This is my third attempt at this post, and I think it's gotten shorter and more condensed every time.
We had such a fun Christmas this year.  After we opened gifts at our house, we made our way over to Honey and Poppa's.  After a yummy pancake breakfast, we opened our stockings presents from H&P.  We were glad the GG's could join us before they headed to California.  The hats, hooded towels, little people sets, books, and matching clothes were a big hit.  We spent the day counting our many blessings and enjoying time spent with those we love most.

Admitally, our bunch is easily entertained.  We got big laughs out of the boys looking at each other's hats in amazement.  In our minds they were saying, "Dude, you've got something on your head."

We were also treated to a very special reenactment of the first christmas starring Hunter as a camel and donkey, Benton as a wise man, Clara as Mary and wise man

Ben as blink and you'll miss Joseph

 Jack as Baby Jesus, Caleb and Clayton as stable animals,

 Poppa and Boy GG as narrators, Girl GG as lead singer of "Away in a Manger" recorded by Zach,

 and Honey holding the star while the shepherds and wise men met the baby king.  It was pretty precious.
