Back to school

I'm just getting around to doing some much needed blog updating.  Thanks Sharon for my blog facelift.  As always, it's a pleasure doing business with Redbud designs!  Glad I finally have all my little lovies represented in my picture.

Last Tuesday we had our first day of school.  Thankfully, Hunter stayed home to help get us out the door and take a few pictures of our big day.  It takes a lot to get our crew fed, dressed, and loaded so I was glad for the extra set of hands.  Benton was excited to see his friends from last year, and pumped he got to "go down the stairs where the animals were."  Caleb and Clayton are in my class, along with three other cuties.
Everyone is even looking!  It's not often I make an appearance in pictures because I'm usually the one taking them!
Goodness would you look at that dimple.  So glad I get to be his mommy and teacher.
Clayton was ready for his morning nap, and not feeling our first day of school picture.
Benton walked right in, and got busy playing.  I had to drag him away from some animals to take a picture with one of his teachers.  Bless those three, they're saints!  We are teaching the threes at church on Wednesday night, and that hour just creeps by so slowly.  It makes me really appreciate the incredible job they do at school!
The first day of school wouldn't be complete without a  cousins pic.  Ben wasn't really wanting to be a part, so Michelle got the honor of being in it.

We had a great first week.  Benton jabbered the whole way home about the books he read, what he made, their letter of the week, and who got in trouble for the day.  He had a blast.  No one napped really well at school, so all my boys slept for three hours when they got home.  Fine by me, as I've enjoyed the down time after a busy day.  We are looking forward to a great school year!
