At the Zoo

With the weather starting to get a little nicer, it seemed like it was about time to take the babies to the zoo.  Benton and I loaded in the car nice and early this morning to go get G.G. Gwen and meet Uncle Zach, Auntie Michelle, and cousin Clara at the zoo.  A fun time was had by all.  Clara is just at the right age to be loving the animals and the noises they make.

Our favorite was, of course, the giraffe.  If anyone knows what sound it makes, we'll be happy to pass that along to Clara.

We made two passes at the giraffe.  Sadly, the elephants are no more at the Abilene zoo.  In fact, there were some plumming issues so we didn't get to see the bears either.

We could hear the lions roaring all over the zoo.  When Clara saw them she let out a big meow.

This was the scene at the dealership yesterday.  Benton was helping G-Daddy make some very important business decisions.

Can't you tell he rules the roost!  Gotta love that boy!
