We're Home!!!

Many thanks to Auntie Michelle who did an excellent job updating the blog the last few days. The new and improved Hanner family is now at home. Thursday was a very exciting day for us! We could not be happier! Benton is such a good eater, sleeper, and is so fun to look at! We have spent many hours admiring the blessing God has sent us. Enough of my gushing, here are pictures!
Benton's outfit for coming home was a little big on him, but he still looked very handsome! Daddy thought he looked Amish, so his hat came off after pictures.

After we loaded our tons of stuff into the car, we came home. Benton slept all through his first car ride. Here we are at our front door.

After his daddy showed him which room he would be staying in, he tried out his crib. He still has some room to grow.

We have had such good help from our families. Nana stayed with us the first night. She reported that Benton spend most of the night looking around and they had lots of good talks. She went home the next morning exhausted. The next victims were Auntie Michelle and Auntie Ernie. It was so good to have both of them spend the night before they went back home! I'm sure that they're both trying to recover after Benton talked with them all night long too.
His bladder is certainly working. Every time I saw him last night to eat he was wearing a different outfit with a different blanket. This is not because we want to see him in all his clothes, but because he peed on all these gowns. I could do an entire post on all the things and people Benton has peed on. I have done two whole loads of wash in the past two days of only his stuff. Here is a picture of the handsome man peacefully asleep. He has hardly touched his cradle from all the loving visitors.

Big cousin Clara is a little unsure of Benton. She had been giving her mommy the cold shoulder from her being gone taking care of me. Her mommy is allowed to hold him, but she can't contain herself when she sees her Honey with someone else in her arms. Here is big cousin Clara being sweet to hold Benton.

As you can see, we are loving being parents. I will post again soon with pictures of the many visitors and more of my favorite photos from the last five days!
