G-Daddy said he could have it...

Benton and I have been quite the little socialites this week. We have made outings to Target (more diapers), Kids' Village (backup changing pad covers), the dealership to see daddy's work, to Granny's, to see Honey at work, and today to meet his future first grade teachers. We also have been to lunch at Hickory Street with M'chelle, and to dinner at Lytle with Uncle Chase and Aunt Macey. He is very cooperative and likes to sleep and look handsome while everyone stares at him. When we visited the dealership, we couldn't help having a little photo session. G-Daddy (Grandpa Mark) and Daddy were so proud to have three generations of Hanners together at the dealership. I don't think anyone was working because everyone was paged to the showroom floor. Here are some pictues with Benton and his first car. He might look back at this post in 16 years and remind G-Daddy that he said he could have it if he wanted...

We are looking forward to dinner with G.G. Glen and G.G. Gwen tonight, and Auntie Michelle and Clara's return to Abilene tomorrow. We are also excited for baby blessing at church on Sunday. We have strict orders from our doctor that we are NOT to pass him around or take him to class for six weeks, so we'll see how that goes. Since our doctor goes to Southern Hills, we better behave. He has such a fan club that feel like they have to get their holding time. We are so thankful for our families who have been so much help this past few weeks. Next post: pictures of our growing grass and new landscaping!
