Hunter's God story

If you're hopping over to my blog from the KTXS link, welcome!  We are humbled to be able to share what God had done for our family.  Feel free to look around and be sure and read how we came to the decision to undergo a bone marrow transplant to cure Hunter's Chronic Granulomatous Disease once and for all.  Though the journey has been full of ups and downs, we have never felt more sure that our God battles alongside us.

We didn't fight for Hunter's future alone.  Our family, friends, and Southern Hills Church family, and prayer warriors from around the world have helped us in more ways than we could ever mention.  The BMT team at Houston Methodist is full of caring compassionate people who provided care for Hunter in his four months there and will continue his follow up until he is one year post transplant.  None of this would have been possible without our donor from BeTheMatch.  Though we won't be given a chance to contact him until Hunter has reached the one year mark, we ask that God pour out his richest blessings upon the person who gave Hunter a new future.

Click here to view our story on the KTXS website.  You should be able to view the video that aired on the news last night as well as read the dialogue.  As soon as it's ready I'll post the youtube clip right onto my blog.  I've known Braid as a friend for many years, but never had the chance to work with her in a professional manner before.  She took a lot of talking from Hunter and I and wove our story together in an incredible way.  Thanks for visiting and continue to check back with updates on Hunter's recovery!  Much love from all of #teamHanner!
