Welcome Ben!

Yesterday we welcomed Benjamin Lowell Percival into the world at 8:04 P.M. weighing a hefty 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and 20 inches long. I am thrilled to have a new {beefy} nephew to cuddle. For all of you clamoring for pictures, Michelle and Zach are a little busy, so I thought I'd help you out! I am beyond impressed by the remarkable way Michelle labored. Her strength and determination was a thing of beauty! As difficult as it was to see her in pain, I am amazed and proud of my wonderful sister.

And without further adu, meet Ben! He's blond, blue-eyed, and very much resembles his big sister!

Ben was taking everything in. He was awake and alert for hours after his arrival. Look at the way he's looking at his momma for the first time! (who looks incredible after over 12 hours of hard labor)

No chicken legs or wimpy arms around here. There's lots of Ben to love.

He was very calm, cool, and collected. The nursery had to work pretty hard to irritate him.

Look at those cheeks! He has his daddy's long fingers and toes.

Those newborn diapers are going to have to be returned. They're already little bikinis on this boy.

Of course, the entire waiting room was full of loving admirers. Clara is a very proud big sister, and a very tired Benton is all ready to teach his little cousin a few things.

Benton got to meet him today up close and personal. He has had a pretty big obsession with "Auntie Shell" lately, and now we can add "Bobby Been" to his list. Sweet boy gave lots of hugs, pats, and attention to his new cousin.

I was sure happy to get my time in too!
