Whew!

What a day! We have been busy bees today at the Hanner house. We headed out to the dealership first thing this morning to get ready for a customer appreciation lunch that Hunter and crew have been working hard for all week. Over 650 guests were on site to eat ribeye steaks and the fixins, register for a rifle or 42 in TV, and to take home some Hanner Chevrolet loot. If you don't buy your vehicles from Hanner, look what you're missing out on!

Benton was in charge of the meet and greet, while Hunter shook hands, and I signed people in. Nana and G-Daddy might have paraded Benton around just a tad. He was precious dancing to the live band, clapping along to their music, smelling all the fake flowers, and patting all the pumpkins he could find. After several hours of running around outside, sweet baby was very happy to see his crib. However, I didn't have my camera, so you'll just have to imagine how adorable he was.

After his 3 hour power nap, I grabbed him out of his crib and we headed up to ACU for some homecoming festivities. This was our first year to attend the carnival, and we had a blast! May Farms was there with their petting zoo, and any animals are always a hit with the little man.
At first, a little unsure of the llama.
She eventually won him over.
Petting the very full, drowsy sheep (while baaing loudly).
Checking out the donkey
This little guy couldn't keep his eyes open any longer.

Hee-haw face
Big Clara and Little Clara on the horse
Neigh!

I was a little nervous putting him on the horse. Clara, oldest sister of four, had him well under control like a pro.
He loved it and cried big tears when he had to get off.

Clara and Michelle trying to flash some wildcat love. I think Michelle has it backwards!

Benton and Clara in my newest toy! This stroller switches to a bike trailer and I can't wait to try it out behind a bike. Benton sure knows how to get to his big cousin. He kept reaching over and grabbing her shirt, which she of course didn't like! I think that explains her face in this picture! After a yummy meal in the newly remodeled, much improved Bean, we called it a day and headed for a bath and bed. Tomorrow is just as crazy with the Homecoming parade, football games, and musical. Bed is calling my name!
