Carnival Conquest

Hunter and I had the dates of September 20-27th circled on our calendar for a while. We were so excited to get to go on a cruise, just the 2 of us. Benton stayed with our parents and we left from Galveston. It was a wonderful time of rest, relaxation, and pampering. It was heavenly to sleep in, read poolside, and have dates every meal with my hubby.

We were so happy to have a table for two. We learned after our last cruise when we were at a table with a spanish speaking couple. Awkward! This was much better.

First stop-Key West, Fl

We walked the streets, did some shopping, and ate at the Hard Rock.

Our second stop was Freeport, Bahamas. We took a taxi to the beach, rented a jetski, and ate a yummy lunch with an unbeatable view. The specialty was conch meat. Of course Hunter tried it.

Our last and favorite stop Nassau, Bahamas. We spent the day at the Atlantis Resort. We will be returning someday hopefully soon! This place was unbelievable. We played in the waterpark, walked along the beach, ate lunch, went to the aquarium, and Hunter snorkled. The grounds were lush, the staff super friendly, and the weather was perfect.

It doesn't take long to become accustomed to room service, dessert every meal, pizza 24 hours a day, and being waited on hand and foot. After eating lobster, shrimp, lamb, escargot, prime rib, steak, sushi, and the likes we left fat and happy. Carnival conquest we miss you! It was back to reality quick on our way home.
