How big is Benton?

My baby is sooooo big!
This last month has brought with it many changes. My handsome little man is crawling. He's into everything. His favorites are the trash, his humidifier, and pulling clothes off the hangars if I accidently leave the door open. It would seem that instead of buying him toys, I ought to just let him play with piles of trash. Gross!Benton seems to be soaking up everything. Some of his tricks include high fives, waving hi and bye, pat-pat-patting Fred, clapping for himself, signing more and all finished, and raising his hands to show how big he is. He now says dada, mama, nana, hi, bye, and his newest is Poppa. Honey and G-Daddy shouldn't have picked such hard names to say! His voice is soft and sweet. He loves to talk and babble all day long.
Sweet boy is still an excellent sleeper. He is still taking two naps a day a couple of hours apiece. Bedtime is around 9, and he wakes up about 9. He loves to eat his cereal with fruit for breakfast, a veggie for lunch, and a third food for dinner. His favorite snacks include puffies, yogurt, veggie sticks, and wagon wheels.
We had our first ear infection this month, along with a cold, cough, and most lately a virus. At his most recent checkup, Benton still had fluid in both his ears. Poor guy. With the exception of some incredibly frustrating very long nights, he has been quite the trooper.
This bath ended like many before it....a quick "evacuation" when someone decides that the water feels so much better than a diaper. I think Benton learned this trick from Clara.

Benton's best buddy still is his Clara girl. She's the only one that always gets a kiss when she tries. However, ladies of all ages get his smiles, waves, and talking. He is especially popular in the grocery store and at church where he stops traffic. He is never too busy for a grin for any little old lady who looks at him. I love being his momma! He is busy, cuddly, plays hard, but still has time to offer kisses and hug. What a fun age!
