I'm way behind on blogging. Back in September, we got to go to Angel Fire for a glorious week! It was fabulous to breathe in the fresh mountain air and escape from the heat of Texas. We all enjoyed the change of scenery as we've spent a lot of time at home. Because there aren't many kids in Angel Fire and it's mostly a retirement community, we had free reign of the playground and pool. We met Nana there and she spoiled us all, like usual. Hunter and I slept in most mornings while Jana fed and entertained the boys. We all win! The days were beautiful and we enjoyed being outside together.
I'll let my numerous pictures tell the story of most of the week, but I do want to remember that this is the trip that we saw four cow elk in our yard, and when we went out on the deck to watch them, we heard and saw a big bull elk bugle and try for about 30 minutes to round up all his ladies. It was a real treat for Benton to get to hear all the sounds of a big bull elk and see one up close.
Don't mind Caleb's current cheese face-squeezing his eyes shut and looking up real high.
Thanks Nana, we had a blast! Can't wait until next time:)
