Day 77, CT good!

Hunter and I have had a peaceful week at the RV!  Many thanks to all of you who attended Hunter's blood drive on Wednesday and all for all the prayers for Hunter's liver.  We heard this afternoon that his CT scan is perfect.  This was a huge answer to prayers as his liver enzymes were still elevated today.  Hepatitis and all other virus tests came back negative, so they've pretty much narrowed down the high enzymes from the amount of drugs he's taken the past few months.  He got a new prescription today (the irony) that should help decrease the liver enzymes.  It is a relief that know that his liver scan is the same as his pre-test CT in February.

Our morning walk was derailed by a fish jumping in the lake....
Hunter is getting stronger everyday.  He can now walk all the way around the lake, which is between 1/3 and 1/2 mile.  Walking wears him out, and he's winded and his legs are tired.  His nausea has been a lot better this week as we figure out what pills and food he can take together.  Hemoglobin counts have remained steady at 10.4 both clinic visits this week.  Because his blood counts are holding, he has been able to decrease his steroids again.  He is still on a high enough dose that he is only getting 3-5 hours of sleep a night, but hopefully his dose will decrease again on Monday's clinic visit.  We are hopeful that with no more setbacks, we can be released to Abilene somewhere in the not too distant future.  God is so good to have gotten us through this storm!  Hunter has quite the testimony of God's faithfulness in tough times.

Our nurse said the lines were his graft....we thought that was cool!

New daily lineup...he takes 3, 4, and 5 of some of these EACH DAY, + 2 shots

Can you say protein?  Hoping this turns into weight gain!
These guys are having a great summer!  Erinn keeps them on the go during the day from library storytime to the pool.  By the time Nana and G-Daddy get home they're worn out!  My little waterbabies all just jump right in the pool with their floaties on and are happy as can be.  I ordered them new towels, and you'd think I sent them a million bucks.  The twins insisted on sleeping on them for two days.  I love these sweet angels!  We can't wait to be back at home with them.

New haircuts=crazy Clayton hair
ACU had a movie night on the hill, and the boys thought this was big fun.  The twins loved the snacks, and Benton got to stay and watch the movie.  Wildcat love starts early at our house:)  What a perfect summer night!

I can always count on Caleb for a good cheesy smile!
We are continually blessed by all the cards, phone calls, text messages, and care packages sent our way.  This week Hunter received the coolest robe from Africa that the boys there wear on their first hunt to become a warrior.  We know that so many are on our side praying for Hunter's victories!  We humbly ask for prayers that his new medication will help his liver enzymes decrease, that he will continue to gain strength and weight, and that he can stay free of any setbacks that will keep us from home!  It's now been 88 days since Hunter has seen the kids, and almost a month for me.  We are really missing all the changes and fun that are going on at home!
