A few weeks ago Benton and I decided we needed to get out of town. We made a quick visit to see my college roomie Amanda and her hubby. Benton and I were spoiled by yummy dinners, homemade french bread, and cinnamon rolls made from scratch, and long talks with great friends. Benton was enthralled with their Yorkie, really honed his walking skills, and was loving all the attention. He was precious!

Not much of a conversationalist, he slept the entire way there. (Fine by me)!

Eating lunch in sundance square. Amanda quickly weaseled her way into Benton's heart...I think it was the tasty food she cooked!

Handsome little man! He was very well behaved on the trip. We even got to see Erinn's brand-new, decked-out classroom. All the work she put in to get it ready does not make me miss teaching!

The Smith-Adams troublemakers! We never would have climbed in through the (2nd story) windows, tilted (full) buckets of water up against people's doors, or completely packed up each other's belongings and moved them to other rooms. Sorry Necia (the RA)! I love that we can pick right up where we left off four (can it be?) years ago.

We made it home to celebrate Hunter's Granny's birthday at Lytle. If that's not love in Granny's eyes, I don't know what is! This is one BLESSED little boy!
