Five Months

Another month in the Hanner house has passed us by.  Benton is ever growing and changing.  He is still laid back and a very content baby.  He loves to laugh and giggle at his new favorite--dogs!  Fred, Jeter, and Sprinkles have captivated his interest.  He watches wherever they go and screams with delight when they make any kind of noise.  Our new tricks include eating his first bites and sitting on his own (for just a little while).  The pictures speak for themselves:

I made it my goal when Benton was born to enjoy every phase of his childhood.  I loved getting to hold him in my arms while he slept the first month.  I loved his first smiles and noises his second month.  I loved watching him discover new things with his hands and feet his third month.  I loved how he would sing and talk himself to sleep his forth month.  Looks like month five will bring lots of new adventures.  I know the holiday season will take on an entire new meaning this year.  I have a whole different set of reasons to be thankful to God for all his blessings in my life!  We love our Benton boy!
