I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We sure did. We gathered with the Reedys, Hathorns, Percivals, and Hanners at Mark and Jana's for a fun day of swimming, grilling, and fireworks. We missed Macey, but were very glad to get to spend time with Zach who has been busy youth ministering as of late. As always, when boys get together the collective IQ of the group drops. M'chelle, Mom, Jana, Michelle, and I were very entertained by the games that were going on in the pool. We watched them peg each other with the ball, try to jump in and kick the ball floating in the water, try to head the ball thrown at them while diving (Nate was pretty good at it), and so on. After the swimming, we headed inside for yummy burgers, fun with the pool table, a thrilling round of Wahoo, and fireworks from the deck. Needless to say, we were worn out come 10:00.
I don't know how I missed out on all the girl pictures, but somehow I didn't take any. However, I did record Benton's first 4th.
Benton and Clara took their first bath together. Nana bathed Benton, and Honey bathed Clara.
It was very entertaining to watch.
Clara looks so big!!!
As soon as I dressed Benton, I thought I better take a picture before spit up, accident, etc. Thank you Debbie for my cute outfit!
All my boys together.
Benton got dressed in his swimmy and came to hang out at the pool with Poppa. He decided to take a nap once he got there.
Benton and Mom. Sorry M'chelle, the other pictures of us were a no-go.
I must explain these pictures. The boys decided that they needed to have a noodle race. The rules were that you had to stand on your noodle at all times and hop across the pool and back. If you fell over, you had to return to the side and start over.
Zach and Hunter neck and neck. All the other competitors had fallen.
My man wins!
Another note, yesterday Benton, Fred, and I were spending some time on our tummies. Benton got a little irritated, and decided he would rather spend time on his back. The big boy just kicked his leg and rolled right over. I tried to tell him we was too little to roll over, but he didn't listen. It sure is fun watching him learn new things!

Love Nana
What a perfect day it was! Daddy and I enjoyed ever minute of it. We are so blessed!
Well normally I wouldn't be excited about a body shot pic of me on a blog, but in this case it kind of looks like I am doing sit ups...I'll take take it! (lol) We had lots of fun with you guys and are so thankful to have you, Hunter, and Benton in our lives. (and all the extended family we have come to know through yall)
PS the deleted comment was me (I originally forgot the "wouldn't" in the first sentence and it sounded really vain and conceited of me!)
